fuck it

Chris and I spent a lazy day walking around Brooklyn before all the rain started.

After eating at Sun In Bloom, we walked through Boreum Hill where this amazing brownstone is covered in glittery mosaics.

We ended up at the Sugar Shack in Cobble Hill where I bought candy just on how cute it was (gummy pizza and chicken feet?!) and made myself sick in the process.

I've been wearing this Huf tank top non stop. I'm absolutely obsessed with it.

beyond the wedge

beyond the wedge

As a lot of you know, I love a good sneaker wedge, Nike in particular. But as they're becoming more common and rip-offs are becoming more prevalent I decided to look at other sneaker options. Living in Brooklyn means I do tons of walking so I need a comfortable flat. Here are a few of my favorite so far.

Maison Martin Margiela perforated shoes / Common Projects navy shoes / Ann Demeulemeester high top trainers, $775 / MM6 Maison Martin Margiela high top trainers / Mark McNairy New Amsterdam genuine leather boots / Keds print shoes / Vans canvas trainers, $145 / A.P.C. STORE, $195

heat wave

It's 90 degrees out and i'm still wearing jeans. Sorry, my legs aren't ready for summer. They are pretty much glow in the dark pale from the endless winter we had. Chris got me this rad bag from Rogue Territories that i'm absolutely obsessed with. It's the perfect size for all my stuff.....and it's camo. Over the summer I hate carrying a heavy, heat absorbing leather bag so I usually switch to a canvas bag.

Lately I've been way into Actual Pain shirts. They had a 50% off memorial day sale so Chris and I each grabbed some shirts. Weirdly I got this one because it reminded me of Oliver...if Oliver was a blood hungry hell hound instead of a jerky shiba inu.

I never go into urban outfitters. I work across the street for one and I never go in. I think it's partly because the one in Brooklyn is teeny tiny and never really has anything. Also, now that I'm 31, a lot of the stuff really isn't my style anymore.
Anyways....on a break from work I decided to walk over and found the cutest little necklaces. They were sold seperately but look awesome worn together. I don't ever wear gold but I love mixing it up in with my usual silver pieces.

odin 09 posala

odin 09

I've been a fan of odin's colognes for over three years, when I started stealing Christian's Odin 01 and Odin 04. I fell in love with Odin 09 when it was released last year, but the kinda steep price tag was a detorant. (It's a good $55 more than than others) It's described as "Smoky bourbon and star jasmine surface in a blend of Perique tobacco, resinous amber and purple iris for a floral bouquet." Over the weekend I finally bit the bullet and bought a bottle and I love it. It's perfect for summer and I wish I would have bought it sooner.

prabal gurung x target : back to nyc!

(Prabal Gurung x Target dress, Rag and Bone shoes, Marc by Marc Jacobs jacket)

After a few days in Florida and missing all the Nemo aftermath I'm back in New York and very happy to be home. I love Florida but I definitely missed my Juice Press habit and cold brewed coffee (yes, I drink it all year round). Not to mention missing Christian and the dogs. One of the upsides of Florida is I got to go to a suburban Target, which compared to the at Atlantic Terminal is absolute heaven. If you've ever been you'd understand.
I'm in love with the Prabal Gurung collection at Target. It was the first collection that I liked better in person than online. Usually it's a let down or fits weird so I was pleasantly suprised.
